Fab demands big performance

|

Lukasz Fabianski is determined that the squad shows it is a far better outfit than lost to Newcastle last week admitting there was disappointment throughout the squad.

He’s desperate to see the Irons get some sort of result against his former club tonight given the games that follow and made it clear we have to get away to a decent late start if we are to set the right tone for the rest of the season.

Speaking on the match night blog at www.whufc.com he admits there was grave disappointment at the way the team performed and that everybody wants to see much better at the Emirates.
It was a lifeless performance against Steve Bruce’s outfit and the lads are going to be bang on the case tonight if they are to start shedding the gloom of the last few days.

Fab made his feelings very clear declaring that they were determined to do better saying

“We’re always disappointed as a group of players when we lose and we’re not happy with was the performance last week.

“A good start is always important because it sets the tempo for the rest of the season. If you do that it’s easier to build up your confidence and to continue with good performances.

“So I think it’s always important to make a good start and then just carry on for the whole season.

“We all have this willingness to show that we are much better than we showed against Newcastle. That’s a big motivation for us, to show that we are better.”
