Moyes confirms latest injury issue

|

West Ham boss David Moyes has confirmed that Thilo Kehrer is another injury worry for tomorrow’s game against Chelsea.

As Claret and Hugh reported earlier in the week it looks difficult for the utility defender to be involved in the match after coming off at half time last weekend.

The central defender left the action at Newcastle after feeling uncomfortable with a hamstring problem.

Moyes gave one of his briefest and unforthcoming pressers yet ahead of the game this lunchtime but confirmed that Kenrer may miss the game.

He said when asked about the injury situation ” We are much the way we were at the weekend. Thilo [Kehrer] came off with an injury which is the main one.

With Kurt Zouma out that means the line up should Moyes go for a back four is likely to be Coufal, Aguerd, Ogbonna and Emerson or, if a back five, then presumably Ben Johnson will be involved.
