Poll: Sack or back the manager

|

West Ham have fallen to yet another embarrassing defeat at home, many are calling to the board to replace the manager as soon as possible while some hold a glimmer of hope that Manuel Pellegrini could still turn things around.

In today’s Claret and Hugh poll we ask you opinion whether to back or sack the manager.

There are three options, sack him immediately before the weekend, wait until the result of Southampton way before making decision or back the manager regardless of the result at the weekend.

it doesn’t matter whether we change the manager again or not. we are suffering from investment in the team which has gone on from years. you could get Pep in and he’d be ok in Y1 but struggle in y2 as per. we have no faith in the board, they are the real issue here

Maybe we should get the Icelandic`s or the Browns back because they were good years weren`t they!

Don’t waste a moment, Southampton is a winnable game in a season where every point may count, give the new manager a chance to get off to a winning start. Then ten days or so to work on the team, before the next game, what we have learned is mindset alone won’t change anything MP instilled the mantra to play like a big team which worked to some degree but it led to a plateau from which we are now rapidly falling. Fabianski will only paper over the cracks when he returns, we are lacking in pace and power in central midfield and up front, Antonio does a sterling job but is not a centre forward, we need two or three up top and a manager that understands how to press teams, more than that one who motivates his players to do that. Bielsa is my first choice although getting him out of Leeds is unlikely as he is a man of his word, so possibly a stop gap like Moyes might be another option. Then we need the chairmen to push the financial boat out and increase their net spend every window. We have the best squad for 30 years and are hovering above a trap door similarly to Roeder who 20 or do years ago had another exceptional squad.

Why are the board waiting? A loss to Southampton will put us in relegation zone and history shows it’s damn hard to extricate yourself out of there if you are there at Christmas.I don’t see us beating Southampton.

    Silly poll
The fact is, and I bet you know it, he will be sacked if or/and when we fall into the bottom three!

Why wait unless? Because the last 11 matches have down promising signs?

No, it’s about saving money. Nothing else!

We should get Harry back as interim while negotiating with Ancelotti to take over at the end of the season!
